BIO

F. Ray Gaskin is a native of Southeastern Oklahoma and holds degrees from The University of Oklahoma and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. His venture into creative writing followed a lengthy career in media, which included stints as a TV sportscaster, radio talk show host, advertising sales representative, and college journalism instructor.

His short stories have received honors from the Oklahoma Writers Federation. His screenplays have garnered accolades from the World Series of Screenwriting, Austin Film Festival, Richmond Film Festival, Hollywood Screenplay competition, and the New York Screenwriting Contest, to name a few.
